A lender that my brokerage uses quite frequently posted a consumer price index (CPI) video on Wednesday (April 12, 2023) about the CPI mortgage rates report that came out and what that will do to mortgage rates for homebuyers.
When the interest rates go down and we still have a lack of home inventory, the bidding wars will begin again and prices will increase.
This is the perfect time to buy while the prices are steady. Even for homes that have been on the market longer than 30 days, the opportunity is there to add the contingencies you want and get a home at a good price.
